Tippecanoe High School Athletic Director, Kregg Creamer, is excited to announce the presentation of an All-American banner to 2017 Tippecanoe H.S. graduate Taylor Prall. The presentation took place on Wednesday evening, June 17th, in the Pat Wampler Gymnasium at Tippecanoe High School.
Taylor is an outside hitter and co-captain for the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears volleyball team. During her junior campaign in the fall of 2019, Taylor was named AVCA Honorable Mention All- American. This is the first All-American award received by a Lenoir-Rhyne volleyball player in program history! Taylor was also named to the First Team All-South Atlantic Conference (SAC), named SAC Player of the week three times during the season, played in all 31 games for the Bears, led the SAC conference in kills with 404 and kills per set (3.88). 404 kills ranks tenth all- time in program history and first all-time in kills per season in the current Olympic/rally scoring system. Her 3.88 kills per set ranks fifth all-time. Taylor had a career-high 30 kills against Mars Hill on September 24, had 11 double-doubles on the year, including a season-high 22 digs against Mars Hill, and pitched in 21 blocks on the season as well.
Taylor will be a senior when she heads back to Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina this fall where she is majoring in Exercise Science and minoring in Sports Management.
